Wish me these three for now.

Anne Morrow Lindbergh an American writer and aviation pioneer, 1906-2001 once said  "Don't wish me happiness-I don't expect to be happy it's gotten beyond that, somehow. Wish me courage and strength and a sense of humor-I will need them all."

“When I dare to be powerful - to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid”~ Audre Lorde

The bug i wanna bitten by

10:46 AM Posted by Unknown

Meeting my Heros and Sheros gives me a goose bump inside out. Probalby you've never heard of them or read about 'em. But all of 'em live for something bigger than themselves. In their own way they are changing the world at some corner of Hyd by changing someone's world. one at a time. (may the bug that bite my heros bite me too)

Some of the mothers from my church were going to visit an orphanage as their usual women's activity, I was invited to join 'em. So i went to meet this 22 years old girl who runs the orphanage and kids school.

She started this while she was 18, oh, that is so inspiring. I hand goose bump all over me.

I enjoyed the time i spent with the kids. They enjoyed me too. But i left inspired.

Change by Tracy Chapman

10:36 PM Posted by Unknown

Scott Played this song during his sermon. I liked the lyrics so i decided to share it.

If you knew that you would die today
Saw the face of god and love
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that love can break your heart
When you're down so low that you cannot fall
Would you change?
Would you change?

How bad, how good, does it need to get?
How many losses? how much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around
Makes you try to explain
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change
Makes you change

If you knew that you would be alone
Knowing right, being wrong,
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that you would find a truth
That would bring a pain that can't be soothed
Would you change?
Would you change?

How bad, how good, does it need to get?
How many losses? how much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around
Makes you try to explain
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change
Makes you change

Are you so up right
You can't be bent
If it comes to blows
Are you so sure you won't be crawling
If not for the good why why risk falling
Why risk falling?

If everything you think you know
Makes your life unbearable
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you'd broken every rule and vow
And hard times come to bring you down
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that you would die today,
If you saw the face of God and loved
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you saw the face of God and loved
If you saw the face of God and loved
Would you change?
Would you change?

7 Must Read Success Lessons from Ralph Waldo Emerson - by Dumb Little Man

11:09 PM Posted by Unknown

Noted American philosopher, lecturer, essayist, and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson led the Transcendentalist movement in the mid-19th century, publishing dozens of essays and conducting more than 1,500 public lectures across the United States. Emerson’s emphasis on individualism, freedom, and self-reliance provide plenty of life lessons ripe for application even today.

Start Small

“The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.”

It’s okay to start small. What’s small today will one day be enormous, if you stay consistent. Don’t be concerned with your current size; be concerned with the direction that you’re traveling in. If you’re going in the right direction, you will eventually get to your goal. You will eventually become, what you were destined to become. At last your greatness will be revealed.

Keep Good Friends

“It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.”

A large part of success is having good friends. A good friend is someone who you can be yourself with.

You don’t have to put on a show, and you don’t have to be smart for a good friend. In the words of Emerson, “you can afford to be stupid with them.” Recognize your good friends, mark them, they are a part of your success.

Action Trumps Theorizing
“An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory.”

It’s easy to sit around and theorize, but the reward is in the action. It’s imperative that you’re in action! Don’t just discuss your theories, test them, and test them today.

Action always trumps inaction, get in motion, have some failures, and it time, success will be yours.

Thoughts Become Things

“A man is what he thinks about all day long.”

Anyone who has successfully changed a bad habit knows that right thinking is the foundation for change. This person knows that to the degree their thinking has changed is to the degree their desires have changed. Desires are birth from thoughts. What are you thinking about? Whatever it is, it is creating your life.

What you ponder you become! Thoughts of success will produce success, and thoughts of failure will perpetuate failure. To change your life you must change your thinking. Thoughts are the root of all change.

The Old Violin

12:00 PM Posted by Unknown

T'was battered and scarred and the auctioneer thought it scarcely worth his while,
To waste such time on the old violin, but he held it up with a smile.
"What am I bid, good people," he cried "who'll start the bidding for me?
A dollar? A dollar. Who'll make it two? Two dollars who'll make it three?
Three dollars once, three dollars twice going for three," but no!

From the room, far back, a gray-bearded man came forward and picked up the bow.
Then wiping the dust from the old violin, and tightening up the strings,
he played a melody, pure and sweet, as sweet as the angel sings.

The music ceased, and the auctioneer with a voice that was quiet and low said,
"What now am I bid for this old violin?" as he held it up with the bow.
"One thousand? One thousand, do I hear two? Two thousand. Who'll make it three?
Three thousand once, three thousand twice, going and gone!" said he.

The audience cheered, but some of them cried, "We just don't understand.

What changed it's worth?" Swift came the reply, "The touch of the masters hand."

And many a man, with life out of tune, all battered with bourbon and gin,
Is auctioned cheap, to a thoughtless crowd, much like that old violin.
A mess of pottage, a glass of wine, a game, and he travels on.
He's going once, he's going twice, he's going and almost gone.
But the Master comes and the foolish crowd never can quite understand,
The worth of a soul and the change that is wrought, by the Touch of the Masters Hand.
~Myra 'Brooks' Welch

Dream

7:10 AM Posted by Unknown

Oftentimes our strongest and deepest desires don't coincide with our strength, but with our weakness. Abraham's dream was not birthed out of his strength, but out from his weakness. In response to that weakness, God told Abraham to count the starts. Some of us are looking for our dreams in the wrong place. There are stars in our barrenness. The stars are in our weakness!

BREAKTHROUGH

10:53 PM Posted by Unknown

“Sometimes a breakdown can be the beginning of a kind of breakthrough, a way of living in advance through a trauma that prepares you for a future of radical transformation.”Cherrie Moraga

A Breakthrough is a moment in time when the impossible becomes possible. When something happens that shapes you, that moves you. Maybe you meet someone that inspires you. Maybe it’s a tool or a strategy that you learn. Maybe you finally get so fed up you won’t settle for the life that you have any more. It's when something inside of you clicks and everything changes. You take massive action and you transform your life.

Recently A friend of mine(Mark) asked me to shoot TV Ad Film for Joyce Mayer's Breakthrough CD Series. Since i needed a breakthrough myself I enjoyed the studio shooting from the bottom of my heart...

Happy Mid Year - Triumphant March

11:02 PM Posted by Unknown

Half of Twenty Ten is gone. I wanna say HAPPY NEW HALF YEAR AHEAD. Looking back past six months, what do you see? No matter what you see that is not my point. But when you look ahead, i encourage myself & you to hold on this prophetical promise of Triumphant March.

This is not just an idea or philosophy rather a prophecy that came in yesterday at monthly mid-night prayer @duke's place.
(2 Cor2:14) Now thanks be to God who ALWAYS LEADS US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST,

Remember: In a good days. In a bad days. When you are in Him, you are in the triumphant one. As much as new year is a time of new beginnings, so is Mid-year(i believe). Wish you,Triumphant March on the road of your DREAM.

Never say Never

9:33 PM Posted by Unknown

See I never thought that I could walk through fire.
I never thought that I could take the burn.
I never had the strength to take it higher,
Until I reached the point of no return.

And there's just no turning back,
When your hearts under attack,
Gonna give everything I have,
It's my destiny.

I will never say never! (I will fight)
I will fight till forever! (make it right)
Whenever you knock me down,
I will not stay on the ground.
Pick it up,
Pick it up,
Pick it up,
Pick it up up up,
And never say never.

I never thought I could feel this power.
I never thought that I could feel this free.
I'm strong enough to climb the highest tower.
And I'm fast enough to run across the sea.

Here we go!
Guess who?
JSmith and Jb!
I gotcha lil bro.
I can handle him.
Hold up, aight?
I can handle him.

Now he's bigger than me,
Taller than me.
And he's older than me,
And stronger than me.
And his arms a little bit longer than me.
But he ain't on a JB song with me!

I be trying a chill
They be trying to side with the thrill.
No pun intended, was raised by the power of Will.

Like Luke with the force, when push comes to shove.
Like Cobe with the 4th, ice water with blood.

I gotta be the best, and yes
We're the flyest.
Like David and Goliath,
I conquered the giant.
So now I got the world in my hand,
I was born from two stars
So the moon's where I land.

Renew me - Avalon

8:42 PM Posted by Unknown

Why am I such a dusty window
For your light to shine through?
Why am I just a tiny star
In a sky already blue?
Why do I offer everything
With my heart closed like a fist?
I want to love You better than this

Why do I live like I'm in chains
When You have set me free?
And why do I have to break Your heart
Before I fall to my knees?
I know it's time to pray for change
Give all I have to give
I want to love You better than this

So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me

I need Your power to renew me, Lord, yeah
I need to know You're moving through me, Lord

I need You as my refuge
My first and last resort
Be the river always running
Through my deepest thoughts
Keep me in Your arms
'Cause even when I drift
I want to love You better than this

So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me

My life bending to Your will
Seeking You until I'm more and more like You

The prayer of jabez for teens
He'll open up possiblities you've never thought of before. He'll ask you to do things you've never done before (and that you're pretty sure you can't do). it will feel like He takes you to the edge of a cliff and says, "let's go for a walk."

*I'm looking forward for the camp... I wish this will be a time where God will say to me Let's go for a walk..... I really need to take that walk with him.... :)

Quotes

6:14 AM Posted by Unknown

Some times quotes from other people help us to say what we want to say... I guess what i wanted to say right now at this moment can be summed up with these couple of quotes.

"I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars."~Og Mandino

"What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well."~Antoine de Saint-Exupery

"We humans can tolerate suffering, but we cannot tolerate meaninglessness"~Desmond Tutu
"To try is to risk failure. But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard of life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow, live, and love."~Leo Buscaglia

sling and a stone

10:15 PM Posted by Unknown

Oh, what I would do
to have the kind of strength it takes
To stand before a giant
with just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound
of a thousand warriors
shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out
my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
time and time again
"Boy you'll never win,
you'll never win."

But the voice of truth tells me a different story
the Voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the Voice of truth says "this is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth

If there are two things i relearned, (1) Murphy law does happen. (2) When it does, the crap of Myrphay law doesn't nullify the promises of the great "I AM". May God bless William Carey for reminding me that, The future is as bright as the promises of God!

When I say: "I can't do it"
God says: "You can do all things" (Philippians 4:13)
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

When I say: "It's impossible"
God says: "All things are possible" (Luke 18:27)
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

When I say: "I'm not able"
God says: "I am able" (II Corinthians 9:8)
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all thingsat all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every goodwork.

Grace upon Grace

2:12 AM Posted by Unknown

A Statement I came across some time ago sums up what want to say concerning ambiguity and uncertainty. It is this: " God's Purpose are always God's enabling."  In other words, when God steers you into strange and uncertain situations, He will keep you very much in the dark concerning His purposes, but He will not leave you bereft of  his grace. The purpose of God and grace of God are tow sides of the one coin. If you  accept the purpose, you get the grace. Any thing God purposes for you, He gives you the grace to perform.

If the Lord wills

2:29 AM Posted by Unknown

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say,
If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.

Larry Crabbs on Shattered dreams

6:49 AM Posted by Unknown

I want to share a quote from page 22 of Crabbs’s book

“Depending on an unresponsive God in the middle of crumbling dreams can be tough on faith. Relating personally with a God who is less responsive than friends with far fewer resources is difficult.

Exactly what is God doing with all his power? At some point in your Christian life you’ll be forced to admit that Jesus didn’t make it on your list of responsive, valued friends. Live long enough, and dreams important to you will shatter. Some will remain shattered. God will not glue together the pieces of ever Humpty Dumpty who takes a great fall in your life.

The divorce will go through, the cancer will claim a loved one’s life, the Alzheimer’s will not be arrested (let alone reversed) by the latest drug. The broken friendship will not be restored despite your best efforts to reconcile. Your marriage will not be satisfying no matter how many counselors your consult or seminars you attend. Your singleness will be an intolerable burden. The budding ministry will never materialize. The lost income will not be replaced by money pouring out of heaven’s windows.

You’ll feel low for a long time; the dark tunnel will lengthen with no light visible at its end. Your sense of adventure will yield to dutiful drudgery. You will be miserable. Your dream of feeling alive, captivated by beauty and passionately free, will die.

And God won’t do a thing…”

But wait, that is not the end of the story.

Life = Risk

Shattered Dreams - Lesson six

6:01 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 6 ~ The past is irreparable; the future is always available.  In every case, when good dreams shatter, better ones are there to newly value and pursue.  These better dreams are indestructible; they will not be taken away from us either by God (because He is good) or by the forces of hell (because evil has no power to thwart God’s highest purposes).   The sixth lesson – no matter what happens in life, a wonderful dream is available, always, that if pursued will generate an unfamiliar, radically new internal experience.  That experience, strange at first, will eventually be recognized as joy.

Shattered Dreams - Lesson five

6:00 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 5 ~ Most people never discover true life.  Unbelievers don’t possess it.  Believer’s, all of them, do possess it, but not many experience it.  The fifth lesson – Not many Christians drink deeply from the well of living water.  As a result, our worship, our community and our witness are weak.

Shattered Dreams - Lesson four

5:58 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 4 ~ A child always given candy never learns to like vegetables.  A student never required to read Shakespeare or to listen to Beethover never develops a taste for more than sensational fiction and noisy music.  Similarly, when lesser dreams reliably come true, we have a hard time appreciating greater dreams.  We neither envision them nor pursue them.  The fourth lesson – Only an experience of deep pain develops our capacity for recognizing and enjoying true life.

Shattered Dreams - Lesson three

5:57 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 3 ~ Some cherished dreams will crumble in your life.  That’s inevitable.  It happens to all of us before we’re through living down here.  No one makes it unscathed to the end.  Whether we believe that God cause the trial (as Naomi did) or that God merely allowed the trial, one thing is clear:  He could have prevented the trial.  he could have given us a good time, at least a better time than we had.  The fact creates within us a tension with God.   The third lesson – Some dreams important to us will shatter, and the realization that God could have fulfilled that dream pushes us into a terrible battle with him.

Shattered Dreams - Lesson two

5:55 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 2 ~ Shattered dreams produce excruciating pain, sometimes to extreme that we fear we cannot survive.  And that is true.  The person we are before the pain cannot survive.  We emerge from the experience of shattered dreams as changed people, but not always for the better.  The pain is not evidence of weak faith.  It is evidence that we are normal.  It’s part of a necessary process.  The pain is necessary if we’re to discover within us an appetite for better dreams that before we neither noticed nor appreciated.   The second lesson – Something wonderful survives everything terrible, and it surfaces most clearly when we hurt.

Shattered Dreams - Lesson one

5:52 AM Posted by Unknown

Lesson 1 ~ Our fondest dreams for this life, the ones we naturally believe are essential to our happiness, must be fully abandoned if we are to know God well.  But we cannot abandon them without help.  The help we need, most often, is suffering, the pain of seeing at least a few of our fondest dreams shattered.    The first lesson – Shattered dreams are necessary for spiritual growth.

Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb - Part two

1:36 AM Posted by Unknown

Shattered dreams are never random. They are always a piece in a larger puzzle, a chapter in a larger story. The Holy Spirit uses the pain of shattered dreams to help us discover our desire for God, to help us begin dreaming the highest dream. They are ordained opportunities for the Spirit to awaken, then to satisfy our highest dream.

God is always working to make His children aware of a dream that remains alive beneath the rubble of every shattered dream, a new dream that when realized will release a new song, sung with tears, till God wipes them away and we sing with nothing but joy in our hearts."

Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb - Part one

1:22 AM Posted by Unknown

One way he works is to allow our lower dreams to shatter.  He lets us hurt and doesn’t make it better.  We suffer and He stands by and does nothing to help, at least nothing that we’re aware we want Him to do.  In fact, what he’s doing while we suffer is leading us into the depths of our being, into the center of our soul where we feel our strongest passions. It’s there that we discover our desire for God.  We begin to feel a desire to know Him that not only survives all our pain, but actually thrives in it until that desire becomes more intense than our desire for all the good things we still want.  Through the pain of shattered lower dreams, we wake up to the realization that we want and encounter with God more than we want the blessings of life.  And that begins a revolution in our lives.”

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

12:59 AM Posted by Unknown

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, "Woe to those who call evil good," but that’s exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and inverted our values. We confess that:
We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it pluralism.
We have worshipped other gods and called it multi-culturalism.
We have endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have neglected the needy and called it self-preservation.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it a choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
We have abused power and called it political savvy.
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the airwaves with profanity and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, O God, and know our hearts today; try us and see if there be some wicked way in us; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent here by the people of Kansas, and who have been ordained by You, to govern this great state. Grant them Your wisdom to rule and may their decisions direct us to the center of Your
will... Amen

*Joe Wright is the pastor of Central Christian Church in Wichita, KS. On January 23, 1996, He was asked to be the guest chaplain for the Kansas State House in Topeka. He prayed a prayer of repentance that was written by Bob Russell, pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. According to an article in the Kansas City Star from January 24, 1996, his prayer stirred controversy, and one member of the legislative body walked out. Others criticized the prayer.
The controversy didn't end there. Later that year in the Colorado House, Republican representative Mark Paschall angered lawmakers by using Joe Wright's prayer as the invocation. Some members there also walked out in protest.
Paul Harvey got a hold of the prayer and read it on his program. He got more requests for copies of it than any other thing he had ever done.

Day-6 of the 40 days Journey

8:12 AM Posted by Unknown

6th Day, It's amazing how time flies.... it's been six days(technically 7 day coz i don't count sundays)
I've had a unique journey so far. Trusting God in the day to day.

Though i woke up at my regular time, I reached to  church a bit late 7 AM something....
Pastor Younus led the devotion. He was sharing about the life of  Sidrak Mishak and Abednago
They made a bold statement which any one wont dare to say in their right mind. God will save us from this fire, even if he doesen't save us....... in other way, they were saying if it is the will of God for us to die we will die, if it is the will of God to save us he will save us. This is a kind of prayer that needs a gut to say it. Only Jesus said that. Father if it is your will Let his cup pass from me but now my will, Let your will be done.

When they pray that, and while being in the fire, God showed up to be with them. The fire didn't burn them be cause they were already set on fire for God. At a times God shows up when we are in fire....

We sang I surrender all at the  end.

First Seek the kingdom - What does that mean?

Day-5 of the 40 days Journey

3:53 AM Posted by Unknown

5th day, yey. I love it. Another day added in my life where i sensed God is up to something with my inside man. While every things outside is the same, (so to say even certain things are gone worse than before) But still it didn't bother me much as it used to. No time at all to be stressed about all the stuffs. Am just soaked in His presence by gazing at his face through  His word.

I've reached to church at 6:35 AM, i sat at last row and start sining ' I'm free", you know, certain songs even though you sang 'em zillion times before..... all of a sudden they mean really different to you in day like this. This is what happen today when i sang all the songs like, I'm free, Hold me close,  There is no one else like you, Lord reign in me...... some of the verses assure you to unbrden your issues at the throne.

Today the devotion was led by, a  NRI guy (pastor) who came from UK. His name is  Dr. Jim Master.
He spoke to us about prayer. The title was " God and me and incredible prayer partnership"

From matt 21:12, he said "my house shall be house of prayer" He urged us to pray proactive prayer rather than crises prayer. He said Prayer time is never convenient time. You make time deliberately.

Five Major points He shared with us.

1- Holy Spitit - Rom 8:26 When you are weak the spirit will help you.
2- Simple prayer works. Pray like a child. Matt 18 come like a child. Simple talk.
3- Specific Prayer works. Be specific from what you pray. List things you are asking God for.
4- Be Stubborn - in good sense stubbornness. Don't forget about God's promises. Those are yours not anyone else's.  Gal 6:7-9
5- Satisfaction - Prayer should be joyful meeting not misery meeting. Isa 56:7 (I'll give them great Joy)

At the end he emphasis  on  Prayer of Thanks Giving -   Matt  8:2 He worshiped him before he ask him any thing. Matt 9:18 also the same.

Day-4 of the 40 days Journey

8:50 AM Posted by Unknown

4th day, Totally amazing. I'm amazed. The energy level i feel in my bones and blood, its much much better than the days i ate chicken and mutton. I wish i had lived this life before. ( i've never observered lent before)
I loved the season i'm in, though the situations outside of me are same old ones. But inside i feel God is up to something..... I wanna co-operate with HIM with full of my mind, heart and soul. While expecting Great Miracle Touch from him finger.

Today i woke up at @ 5:30 AM  I brush up, took shower, drunk coconut water... and rushed to Church for today's devotion. Truly we had a good time of worship. We sang  "Saviour He can move the mountain".... And pastor younus shared scripture about Life of Daniel.

1- He was a man of Purpose. ( from the beginning he resolved in his heart not to defile himself.)
When he took a stand for God, He was able to influence 3 other friends.

2- He was a man of Prayer. He prayed 3 times a day, we also pray 3 times but it's only for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even if the kind announce a decree not to worship any god, Daniel didn't change his habit. He was also fasting from the food of the king. And He and his friends were looking better than the rest.

3- He was a man of Prudence. When you honor God there is no way He won't honor you back. Dan 1:20 says Daniel and his friends aptitude was 10 times better than others... WOW.

At the end we all said this AWAKENING - Confession prayer.

Jesus, I plead your blood  over my sins and the sins of my nations. Shake eveything than can not be shaken. End darkness and shine your light on me. Send revival to me! My family! My church! My city! My nation!
In Jesus Name AMEN.

Day-3 of the 40 days Journey

7:39 AM Posted by Unknown

3rd day, another day filled with GOD's grace.
Today Morning I woke up at 6:20 AM, I knew i'm gonna be a bit late for morning devotion at church.
Any how i just rushed. When i reached there they all were sining "As the dear"... I searched a spot at the back to kneel down. I start singing it along....
after that we held hands with who ever is near to us, we prayed one on one prayer time for each other personal needs.
After some time, three, one-on-one groups joined hands as one and prayed for youth alive, then after awhile the whole them hold hands and prayed for they country.

Before the end we sang, God of the city. Pastor Younus, didn't share any thing today, he said he was prepared to speak about life of Daniel which will help us on our fasting and prayer. But the spirit led him to make the whole session "just a prayer"

At end, we all sat alone by ourself quitely to reflect on what the spirit of God is speaking to us. We did that for some time then I left at 8 AM

Day-2 of the 40 days Journey

8:24 PM Posted by Unknown

2nd day of another exitement,
I had the longest walk of 2010, I woke up at 4:00AM
Reached to church at 6:30.
Sarah was leading worship, she said do you guys wanna tread?
We said yes, she asks again 'tread what?' we reply 'our sorrows for the joy of the lord'
Finaly she said ' Let's tread it.' We sang 'Am treading my sorrow', i liked it.

Today Pastor Younus led the devotion on usefullness of fasting and prayer

1 it makes you set the course of the year,
2 Blessing will happen to you and your family, as it happen to Noah
3 When you fast and pray Matt 3:33 principle will be released.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Amen.

Day-1 of the 40 days Journey

3:14 AM Posted by Unknown

To day Morning i was really exited to begin the journey of 40 days fasting and prayer.
I woke up at 5:30 am to go to AG church, the gathering was basically for young people.
There were about 100 young men and women came to be part of this journey
Scotty was leading worship - I like the last song very much - Our God is an awesome God He reigns.
Pastor Younus led the morning devotion by starting from Ps 34:8, Taste and see that the LORD is good;
I fancy the idea of Testing Good God as strawberry mocha. Pastor Younus spoke about why no 40 is ideal number for fasting by mentioning examples of  Jesus, Elijah, Noah, Jonah...

He said God will not use dirty vessel, but He'll clean and sanctify. 2chr 7:14

Here are the 10 things he spoke about what fasting and prayer will do for us

1 - It's a way we give ourselves as living sacrifice. Rom 12:1.  when we fast our body is constantly worshiping God.
2-  It brings us to our first love with Jesus. If we had used to much and if we side tracked for a while it brings us back.
3-  It causes our relationship with Jesus to go deeper.
4-  Hanger in flesh is hunger in spirit
5-  It keeps us sensitive to the spirit
6-  It prepares us to new anointing
7-  It helps to overcome sexual addictions and demonic power. Every bad habit has demon behind it.
8-  It prepares us to the new things God is going to do. Is 34:18
9-  It keeps us in main stream of God. We'll keep thinking of him. it makes us conscience when we do things we say i'm fasting i don't do this or i ought to do that....
10- It is hunger strike against HELL. by boycotting the power of hell we'll flourish in God's kingdom.

I'm not doing this as an Christian tradition. But in my life honestly I'm waiting the move of GOD. His miracle. To be used by Him. I'm exited about the Fasting and Prayer Journey that i started to day.
The day will be NO FOOD DAY till evening. In middle i can take liquids to rehydrate myself.

God Thank You for your awesomeness.

The quarter of the pizza is gone!
